An interesting article, but I really don’t think that the Times goes into enough detail to the extent that Israel controls building projects in Gaza, or the random-nature by which they are approved. The occupier still very much has control over Gaza, even if they are not present within its borders (which by the way are also defined by the occupier). Really, the positive points of this article just reassure that “…most people in Gaza remain forgotten.”
I am trying to set up a page on each of my blogs that will lead you all to my Twitter, but Tumblr is being an ass right now.
Here is the link. The twitter feed will be mostly political—a mix between Mid/Near East news and US news—with a bit of the personal thrown in of course.
Speaking of which, I’m thinking of expanding this blog to be generally about Mid/Near East policy and news, including Tunisia, Afghanistan…all the places where my heart lies.
Thoughts???
